News From The Dragon ~

March 17, 2016

Hello all Si-Dai and Si-Mui (Junior Kung Fu Brothers and Sisters),

Most of you know my Wing Chun training regiment is about 15 hours a week. That's not including different seminars I attend through the year.

Years of hodge podge self training with friends and looking for a serious real master that was worth my time and money, and training with several different Wing Chun teachers in DFW, I found what I was looking for in Feb. of 2012. I've been making up for lost time ever since.

3 hours in 3 classes in the daytime during week days every week. That is 2 hours of private time with my Sifu on 2 different days, and 1 hour in the regular Saturday class with a bunch of guys about 10 to 12. During class we change training partners when we change techniques. So I get to train with about 6 to 8 different guys in an hour.

In addition to that, I attend 3 nighttime classes every week, that is another 3 hours, with about 8 to 12 guys depending who shows up on which day. And same situation, during class we change training partners when we change techniques. So I get to train with about 6 to 8 different guys in an hour.

In addition to that, I have been teaching and training in parks in Grapevine, Grande Prairie, Lewisville, and Plano, and at the Grapevine REC center and the Grand Prairie REC center. I normally teach and train 3 hours on Saturdays.before I go to my regular Saturday class of my Sifu. Normally that has been with 1 to up to 5 students. It is rare to find someone with more experience.

So currently, I have the 2 hour paid class at the Grapevine REC center from 7:30am to 9:30am with about 5 people at a time and then the FREE 1+ hour meetup class at the park in Grapevine from 9:45am to 11am.

Then I go to my regular 1 hour Saturday class of my Sifu.

In addition to that, I give 1 to 2 hour private lessons to students and makeup lessons when they miss class.

In addition to that, I do my own training at home about 3 to 4 hours a week on stuff my Sifu wants me to do and my own self training.

In addition to that, I attend seminars that are from 3 to 5 hours a day for 1 to 5 days throught the year. Dan Inosanto has a 2 day 10 hour seminar coming soon I will attend.

My Sifu has a Kali/Escrima seminar tomorrow for 3 to 4 hours. Below is the info.

Please let me know if you are going or introduce yourself to me when you see me there.
